We are currently looking for a dedicated Supervisor to lead and coordinate warehouse operations. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of goods. You will also be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives and collaborating closely with fellow Supervisors. Reporting to the Department Manager of logistics, this is a dynamic leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring daily warehouse activities.
- Managing production output and optimizing operational processes.
- Developing and managing personnel schedules for day-to-day operations.
- Assisting in personnel management and holiday planning.
- Conducting recruitment, training, and motivation of staff (40-80fte).
- Conducting performance evaluations and appraisals.
- Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and daily production targets.
- Investigating and evaluating quality-related issues to drive improvements.
- Collaborating effectively with various departments within the warehouse operation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leadership roles within warehouse management.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A results-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of German would be an advantage. Dutch language skills are also a plus.
- A valid work permit for the Netherlands is mandatory.
